Re: Who will win the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015
In my opinion: …. Only upset I believe could be Bangla Desh qualifying at expense of New Zealand. Reason is that in ODI, most of the times batsmen play vital role, not bowlers. Bangla Desh team have some good batsmen and all-rounders, and I believe that overall, their team might perform better than expected. Obviously, Australia is too good for BD to beat. Thus SL, Eng and NZ, anyone of them may have to make place for BD and I believe it could be NZ or Eng. Between them two, I think NZ may give way. Rest is quite obvious unless some big upset happens.
As for final, I believe SA team is the strongest, but India is not too far behind. Between two, India has better batting side and SA has better bowling side (though their batting side is also sterling). Both these two teams have 2 players each with ODI averages over 50. On the other hand, there are several players in Indian team with averages in mid 40s (on top of 2 players with average above 50). I think, both team could win final, but unfortunately, SA has shown in past that they get nervous in finals and that is why I selected India.

One can see that teams participating in world cup, only 3 teams have players in top 20. 4 of them are from India, 2 from SA, and 2 from Australia. Obviously, these 3 teams would excel in world cup.
