Who will do it?

There you go ehsan - You got the answer, thanks to LahoriMunda. :slight_smile:

Yet another great feat for Steven Waugh - 150 against every single Test playing nation - what an achievement! I don’t think anyone would ever manage 200 against every nation - even the Great Donald Bradman may have found that one tough! Oh yeah right he would have cruised to that in his first 9 series! :stuck_out_tongue: Nah but great stuff from Steve, its a shame but Sachin will probaably overtake him when he surpasses Gavaskar.

Btw Steven have to make 653 runs more to break the Most Runs in the Test Match by Allan Border - Just keeping the record straight.

:smokin2:

It is completely idiotic to compare Bradman with any other player.
Those are 2 different players from 2 different eras. Conditions, players, and everything. You just simply can’t compare them.
Its like comparing Agarkar with Akram :hehe:
Ooops, I think yours truly has done that too.
Shame! :nono:

Based on same logic will you say that Kapil was better bowler than Imran and Waqar ,after all he got more wickets. ;)
Or Border was better batsman than Minadad..well Border scored more TEST runs and centuries.
Let me know?? dont pick and choose your logic whenever it suits you?

Its not just about the wickets but strike rate and everything else comes into an arguement when you are comparing 2 bowlers.
Waqar was way ahead of Kapil in both avgs and strike rate.

I like Tendi more than Waugh, and I want Tendi to get there first.

There is no doubt Tendulkar would get there but Waugh should get their first, he still has 4 test matches against the Indian bowlers, that should easily get him to 40 centuries.
While Tendulkar will eventually get there in couple years of time with many home series still to come.

there was a time when we were waiting to see who (saeed or tendlia) wud break desmond haynes’ record of centures in odi…
and then when they both levelled at the same record, we saw what happened…
today the two contenders (saeed and tendlia) stand almost 14 centuries apart…

i think we’ll have a similar thing (or maybe worse) with stevy and tendlia…
and he tendlia got to hanyes’ record first :wink:

and this post still does not mean that i like tendlia or that i intend to suggest heis a match winner… :snooty:

:hehe::hehe:
Yeah - Shame on you !!

Even Sachin is ahead of Waugh in avg as well as avg.no. of centuries per tests :slight_smile:

:hehe::hehe:

PS :- Steve Waugh has more centuries against fast bowlers of Pakistan than India :slight_smile:

And your point is…
We all know Sachin is a better batsman the Waugh.

Oooh 2 centuries against India and 3 against Pakistan
But what about the overall performance.
He only avgs 34.59 against Pakistani bowlers while he avgs 41.15 against the great INdian bowlers. :hehe:

Wasn’t Saeed Anwar got diagonose with some kind of Bronchi in 97-98? - and he did not play Cricket for about year or so?
