I mean I have read @ some places (mostly in this BB) that Yazid ordered his armies to do all that and then he disrepected the face etc etc etc … Now is there anything v r missing here…?
This question is not for shias…bcz they have already explained their version in GREATEST detail in “khutab-e-Zainab in Darbar-e-Yazid” thread… I am more interested in knowing where is Maxximboy coming from…? Whats the story there???

Yar from a purely historic point of view it is a fact that Yazid was not leading the lashkar fighting against Hazrazt Imam Hussein(r.a.)in karbala.If my memory serves me right it was a man named ibne-ziyad.It is also said in history books that Yazeed when given the news by his commanders cursed them and cried saying that this is not what he had wanted.Anyway this I think is what maxximboy may be referring to.
There is of course the version that you have mentioned also.

Sherazz, how true is that statement that you just made? All I asked Ahmed to do was, to provide you with some references so you would shut up with this disagreement without any solid ground.
I related my self to the teachings of Mohammad and try to copy him and follow the teachings of Islam. I don’t look for normal figures for to increase my knowledge in Islam. I don’t even know who yazid is/was. If you have some problem with him, please keep it to your self. Don’t bring me in this. Thanks. Take it easy.

What does it matter to us if he/she is a true Muslim? As I said elsewhere, there is a much higher authority in charge of these matters.

Muzna ghussa iss baat ka hai k this person suppose to be following Quran and Sunnah, yet he doesnt really have the love for his family, he is always saying YOUR IMAM this Your Imam that, doesnt he know Imam are the family of Prophet..Allah knows my intentions
