I had just seen a program on ARY ONE, where a father was explaining the situation/condition of his murdered Son, A student of Philosophy in Karachi University, If I’m not wrong the name of father is “Naveed Mir” or “Mir Naveed”.
I was became really interested in this accident, Can someone tell me in detail what he may got from the local news papers. I just wanted to know, why would someone kill a student of philosophy, Since his father was telling that his son was not involved in any political activity…

yes, this happened a few days ago during the last days of ramadan. i read the news item in Dawn that day and it said that the student was from the department of Philosophy in the University of Karachi and his father was a renowned columnist. it added that the deceased student who was 21 yrs old used to a show on one of the local FM radio channels. his body was discovered the next morning aftre his murder in the ngiht near his home, the purpose or caue of death was not known as his family wanted the burial to take place quick since the body was decomposing fast.
his parents said that it was usual for him to go stay wiht his friends for a day or two and his friends did the same often staying at their place, thios time he had been at his friends, and did not return...
i wonder what the reason for this inhuman act might have been...
