Re: Who was talking about freedom of press and criticism of Mushi?
Every country has the right to deny visas. Heck the US will turn down a visa issued by the consular office at the airport in the US if they feel like it. So there is no violation of the freedom of press. The US has turned back US citizens from entering the country, is that is a violation of the freedom of movement a US citizen has?
Secondly what happened was wrong, no doubt about it. But the job of the Pakistani govt is to protect its image. Personally it a stupid move. They should allow her to leave then screw up the visa process. Then of course there are many beaucractic hurdles which are easily set up. They should use those.
The Paki govt is gonna get screwed over this royally.
