Hazrat Hussain was a sahabi (though few muhiddisin consider him a taabi coz he was a child during the life of hazrat muhmammad ) beside he was a grandson of prophet. and thats why me and all muslim love him. A pious and learned personality.
but he was not imam (its my and sunni point of view).
