Amin al Husaini and Kamal al Husaini were two political leaders who were against the British and French colonization in early 1920’s and had the support of King Faisal. But he is known as a person who in time of war tried to use the German support against the occupying British forces in greater Syria.

Ohh and I missed this point, he was appointed "Grand Mufti" (a British-invented title)of Jerusalem by the occupying British forces. After all this he was still against creating the state of Israel in Palestine.
