er, it depends on the family and the upbringing. Seriously.
In my family, we are all early risers and early sleepers. Which means we are all up by 6:00 a.m. Sleeping in for us is sleeping till maybe 8:00 a.m.
When I went to Karachi, I noticed that the whole city ‘wakes up’ after 12:00 p.m. It’s quite normal for people there to sleep in all morning. I found it odd, but that’s just how it is there. So it becomes ingrained in the ppl … and when they move here, they find it hard to ‘get up’.
I find it disturbing how normal it is for housewives to spend all morning sleeping. I don’t know about our generation, but the older generation …
Then again, my family’s sleeping habits are ‘abnormal’ in comparison with the rest.
To answer your question, my dad would get up for Tahajud everyday between 3:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m.** He would also make my mother nashta everyday**. She would get up for Fajr and her chai would be ready.
:k:
That is what I am talking about. If someone is NOT a working woman, why “aab job per tu jana nahee, lets sleep” thinking kicks in ? (in most of the cases) ?
