As I understand (from TV news and news papers), no one knows who stopped Shafqat’s execution for the 4th time. Only person who can postpone or cancel the execution is Mamnoon Hussain (president of Pakistan) and presidency spokesman is saying that Presidency did not issue any stay order on the execution this time. Interior minister is saying that he did not order any stay either.
Question is how hard it is to find out and punish whoever did the illegal work? Such pathetic are the affairs under this Govt that we can execute a killer properly?
