Who still makes an effort to do yourselves up on a daily basis??

Hi guppies!

So I was just wondering as to what other married girls do in terms of getting ready everyday. I’m a mumma of 3 bachey and I just have totally given up getting ready on a daily basis and spend most days in my pjs, unless someone was coming over, ten I would make an effort or if I was going out. But I never make an effort at all. Just can’t r asked anymore to be honest, sounds bad but with three bachey all very young (under 5) ive just given up.

Ive been thinking that I should start making a bit more effort, maybe put some tined moisturiser on etc and wear nice clothes especially for hubby, but it’s a time actor.

So what do other yummy mummies or married girlies do out there? Be great to hear your sides! xx

My SIL has been married for 2 years and she still puts make up on every day, does waxing and her facials :/

Wow...with three kids under 5 I can't blame you...looking after kids and in your case three young kids is a full-time job all around the clock! I still miss my sleep...lol.

Leave the kids with Hubby one day and go and treat yourself to a facial, blow-dry or time out with friends etc. You'll feel so much better after.

I have a little boy and he's really easy to look after so I find it easy to keep myself maintained etc. I can leave him with Mum, MIL, Hubby, my sis etc when I need to go out etc. I defo' think its so important to look good as it makes you feel so much better.

While the kids are asleep why don't you have your own spa day? I can imagine it to be really hard with three kids under the age of five!

I've been married 2 years and have a lil girl and I spend my day in pjs.

Re: Who still makes an effort to do yourselves up on a daily basis??

How do you know he doesn't notice? Maybe he doesn't care?

I wanna say something but I don't think I should be so mean all the time :)

Re: Who still makes an effort to do yourselves up on a daily basis??

I dolled myself up for about a month after I got married but felt really silly- make up has never been my thing (although nowadays I seem to buy loads but never wear it) Now I'm back to being my usual lazy pre-wedding self and not sure where to start!

Re: Who still makes an effort to do yourselves up on a daily basis??

doesn’t every one wash their face and change clothes every day . I thought OP was talking about applying make-up even when at home

Re: Who still makes an effort to do yourselves up on a daily basis??

Lol! I'm sure everyone washes their face and brushes their teeth, I am talking about daily effort I.e. makeup, hair and clothes etc.

Thank you all soo much for your replies, and for your kind suggestions :) when kids are sleeping, I tend to have a little nap and do the cooking cleaning etc. I soooo need to take time out for myself, as I hate being like this but it's part laziness I guess and just being busy with bachey. I sometimes can't believe that I'm only in my 20's yet I look like a 40 year old :S not good! All you mummy's who do make TW effort are amazing, just wish I could do the same.

wow - this is an interesting insight into my life to come...am engaged to be married...wonder how long it will take before I become so tied down with married life/kids etc that I'm too tired to make myself up... :)
