…And that was the first time since 9-11 when they should know, and they do know now, that terrorism should be Number 1. But it’s important for them all to be together. I think that works to our advantage, in the Western world’s advantage, for people to experience something like this together, just 500 miles from where the attacks have happened.
VARNEY: It puts the Number 1 issue right back on the front burner right at the point where all these world leaders are meeting. It takes global warming off the front burner. It takes African aid off the front burner. It sticks terrorism and the fight on the war on terror, right up front all over again.
have a question for the supporters of the war in iraq: people who claim that the US/UK are fighting terrorists rather than ordinary Iraqis. They said "better fight them there than here".
How does it look now? How has the fighting in Iraq actually served it's purpose of 'containing the terrorists". don't these attacks pretty much render moot the doctrine of pre-emptive wars and invading countries with oil with concocted connections to those terrorists?
PA, the problem is you are not going to convince them that Iraq has no connection to 9-11. Bush has repeated it enough that avg. american does not know the difference, not to mention listening to these talking heads like Sean Hannity and Hush Bimbaugh (from Michael Savage) does not help.
peace? from the Demoncrats... that deserves a laugh..
the Demoncrats are as bloodthirsty as your krusty Repubelicon.. make no mistakes about it.. Shillary will be screaming for more bloody wars the moment she gets planted into the White House..
The article linked below that we saved in our own format (and the website that carried it has strangely since crashed) said that Netanyahu was warned before the first blast.
Israel are now denying they got a warning.
BREAKING: Scotland Yard says it got a warning before the attack and told Israel.
“The Israeli Embassy in London was notified in advance, resulting in Finance Minister Binyamin Netanyahu remaining in his hotel room rather than make his way to the hotel adjacent to the site of the first explosion, a Liverpool Street train station, where he was to address and economic summit.”
haha they'll do the dance they always do.. just keep an eye on breaking news headlines and copy them as they have a strange way of changing and sometimes the whole story gets spiked.

Reports just in suggest U.S. Army Radio quoting unconfirmed reliable sources reported a short time ago that Scotland Yard had intelligence warnings of the attacks a short time before they occurred.
The Israeli Embassy in London was notified in advance, resulting in Finance Minister Binyamin Netanyahu remaining in his hotel room rather than make his way to the hotel adjacent to the site of the first explosion, a Liverpool Street train station, where he was to address and economic summit.
"We were exactly on our way to the hotel located over a subway station – the first one to blow up-, Gilad said.
“We were asked by the British security sources not to arrive at the hotel. Still it was not clear what was happening. We stayed in the hotel where we were guests,” Gilad said.
yes utd.. hang on to this.. it'll get interesting..
memories fade as events sink into the past, but if u keep records u'd remember.. even OhigoGuy posted something to the effect that Benny got a courtesy notification from Scotland yard, why they didn't warn the general public is anyone's guess..
now the spin doctors are in overdrive trying to suggest no warnings were given or if some were they were AFTER the attacks.. yet Benny escapes unhurt by virtue of not being where he was supposed to be....
If Netanyahu was in town, and a suspicion existed that an attack of some kind was imminent, he would be one of the likely targets so it would be unsurprising if he was warned a danger existed shortly before the attack.
Netanyahu is a Minister in the government of the Zionist entity in Palestine, and a former Prime Minister of that entity, so it would have been safe to assume that one of his many enemies was up to something.
