larki walay b/c they have the added expense/burden of giving freakin gold and stuff to the inlaws.

In our case I think we spent around the same amount if I remember correctly. We didn't want anything big and flashy, we just wanted to keep it nice and simple.

It’s some silly tradition…part of jahez/dowry, where the girl has to bring every freakin thing as if the guyus family was living in squalor before they met her :rolleyes:
