Who Should Lead Pakistan In 2007?

I know it’s early but pakistan need to have One captan instead changing the position every year. in 2007 the World Cup in West Indies, U.S and Canada Pakistan needs to be ready for every single team.

For me i have Three for the job:

Inzi(if still playing)
Youhanna
Afridi
if not inzi then Younis khan

we seriously lack a genuine leader.

For me it's too early to tell...but Youhanna seems to be a good candidate..

Afridi?!?! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Ok. seriously. I respect your choice.

:rotfl: :rotfl:

All of these guys are useless and have no leadership qualities. By 2007 some of the guys like Yaasir Hameed and Shoaib Malik will be better candidates, or maybe someone else will come along. Youth isn't always a drawback, Smith looks a born leader to me, what a fine captain he is, a century mile ahead of the experienced Inzi.

junaid zia !!

you never know maybe ur guess is rite

i'll add shoib malik to that list

:snooty:

Afridi will have to change his name to come back in the team.

Add Abdul Razzaq to the list.

He will have to change a lot more than just that to come back into the team!

well to my list Shoaib Malik or Taufiq Umer will be there as captains..
Only coz of there confidence and commitment..
no matter how commited yoyo, younis or inzi and Razzaq are , they dont have any confidence.. Just see the taufiq gave interview after his innings at lahore, he was confidence and he was talking in good english..

For crying out loud, speaking English is not criteria of being a leader. Fighting spirit, confidence, ability to utilise resources and leading from front are the requirements of leadership.

Well said. :k:

at least he was better than others.. and he is still new in the side, not like our other senior players.

Its no shame that they give comments in Urdu at the end of the day, its courtesy of Ramiz only. But still after spending such a long time in internaionl cricket, they should be able to speak to some extent..

any way, I agree that only speaking english aint the criteria...
