Who should be in London's Madam Tussaud's museum

London’s famed Madam Tussaud’s museum announced its decision to create its first ever Bollywood star in wax.

Museum spokeswoman Diane Moon yesterday said: “Bollywood stars enjoy the same international icon status as the biggest in Hollywood. However, we haven’t yet made a decision about which star we will approach.”

Acknowledging the audience-pulling power of the Indian film industry, she said, “We are currently seeking advice from a selection of Bollywood pundits to come up with a shortlist of candidates.”

The public will then be given a chance to vote on the final choice for the wax figure, which will cost 30,000 pounds.

Who all should be included in Madam Tussaud’s museum. Any suggestions

Shahrukh Khan
Madhuri Dixit
Amitabh Bacchan
Madhubala
Hritik Roshan
Dilip Kumar …

Hi,

there are three actors that I admire,
Kader Khan & Anupan Kher for their outstanding humour, and
Saif Ali Khan, because he's so sexy :)

They should be there!!!!!!!!!

Hirtik roshan?

I thought he only starred in one movie? Now I know Mohabbat is a behen and nt bhayee saheb!!

The first indian actor to have his statue at the famed wax joint should be none other than Amitabh Bacchan.

I doubt that even Gandhi is as widely known outside of india as Amitabh is.

Vote for Bollywood at Madame Tussaud’s
A shortlist of five names has been released to pick the first Bollywood star to enter the famed Madame Tussaud’s wax museum here. And Bollywood fans all over the world can vote to to see their favourite star in wax.

Fans will have to pick from Amitabh Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit, Raj Kapoor, Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai. The five were shortlisted after extensive consultations with Indian film buffs in London.

In a break with the tradition of picking the chosen model, Madame Tussaud’s decided on the Internet voting system. There is no bar on the number of votes anyone can muster.

But the museum says it will have to take a second look if too many votes come from just one address.

The voting will not be confined to fans in Britain. Fans anywhere can register their votes online at www.madame-tussauds.com from now on. The result will be announced at the International Indian Film Awards at the Millennium Dome on June 24.
