I was out in a field alone by myself at night time. It was a huge open field with darkness all around. No living being could be sighted as far I could see. Couple farm houses were in a shape that they will fall over any minute.
While I was trying to make something out of the scene around me, I felt the ground under my feet trembling. My legs started to shake. Before I could get any chance to look around the cause of it, I saw one huge metalic tripod’s leg coming down right where I was. I rolled over as fast as I could to save my self getting grinded under that creature.
Tripod started to shine a light/beam all over the ground and unfortunately I was right between his three legs. I had no where to run. I was basically trapped between life and death.
When tripod beamed his light on a ground, it was coming right towards my direction. I saw it coming… I could feel my death…all I could do was pray to God. Everything started to come in my mind about my life, family and the people I dealt with. I thought if only I could get one more chance…if only i could get one more chance!
Who says miracles don’t happen even today. Look around they do occur in one way or the other! Don’t know what good I did in my life that saved me from getting noticed in that light by one inch!
My heart started to pump fast and my mind ordered me to get up and run! I started to run without looking back. I ran towards my house to warn them about tripods attack.
I got home, my family was just chilling like nothing happened. I was breathless and exhausted but the thought of keeping my family safe from those tripods kept me going.
I saw my dad outside the house getting ready to go somewhere. I warned him to come inside the house. He asked why? I said, “Dad don’t ask any questions at of this moment, please listen to me now and come inside. I will explain everything later.” I dragged him inside with me.
As I went upstairs to check up on my other family members, i noticed my mom is in my youngest brother’s room trying to put him to sleep. While I was peeking in his room, I noticed tripod’s surveillence was outside my brother’s window waiting him to sleep and then attack. It panicked me and i promised myself to not let this happen until I am alive!
I basically didn’t tell anyone at home what is going on to not to make them panicky. I asked my mom that instance to get my brother and other siblings and come along with me. She asked why? “I said trust me and follow me.” I gathered my entire family and ordered them to quietly go down in a basement.
All lights were turned off. Me and my family was in basment. They all were normal but yet they were suspecting my behaviour. I tried to calm them down and asked them to keep things quiet. I told them " trust me, I saw those things with my own eyes and they are here. I know it sounds like fiction, but its the reality that I bet no one wants to face in their lives."
Couple hours passed by and no damaged nor harm was done. My family were almost sleepy but my eyes were sharp and alert looking for every possible false moment to occur.
While I was looking around the room, I spotted the tripod’s surveillence hidden behind the couch and unfortunately my dad was near that couch. As soon as I saw that I yelled at my dad to get away from the couch. Before my dad could even get a chance to turn to me and ask anything, the arm of tripod stretched and grabbed my dad.
Nothing came in mind except to jump in and save my dad. I ran toward’s the arm of tripod from where he was taking away my dad. I don’t know where I got all that strenght and energy that I was able to run fast and get a tight hold on tripod’s arm. I pulled it towards me. I was determind to stop that thing and was willing to do anything to save my dad’s life.
While I was pulling that arm of tripod, I screamed at my brother to get an axe and cut it through! He in four attacks cut in half and my dad got relieved. I turned around to see my dad…and tears came in my eyes thinking "while your daughter is alive, no one can harm you in this world (insha’allah) "
AND THEN I WOKE UP (with bloody red eyes) 
who says Tripods don’t exist?
