Who says Mullahs don't have fun?

^ LOL!!!!

:hehe::hehe:

First of all, define a Mollah... I mean those fun loving, playstation playing, soccer loving folks arent really what most people refer to as mollahs these days.

May god save us all from Mullahs. I want to know what drove them to get alcohol banned in Pakistan? It’s fine that consumption of alcohol is against their religious beliefs, but why make it hard for others who don’t follow your faith? They have done such stupid things even by not being in power, imagine if they actually came into power. They will make Taliban rule look like most tolerant. The only fun these idiots have is mocking other faiths (claiming their as best) and putting hina on their 18 inch beards.

Mullahs are the best...

When I first started sitting with the Mullahs, I had this dread and notion of sitting between those who would judge me and snub me...Not to mention that I would be in the company of somber-faced, bearded individuals who just sat around in a circle and looked mean...Let's face it, that's always the image that ignorance would have you believe...Not to mention, when I first started going to the Masjid, I was a pimped-out mac daddy...

Initially I thought I would be chased out of the Masjid for my views and appearance (tight jeans, earrings e.t.c), but nothing happened...No one looked down at me, everyone heard me out about my ideas to 'reform' Islam, I was explained through Quran and Sunnah about the 'reformations' I wanted to introduce, we joked around, I was invited for dinner and I was hooked...

During my subsequesnt visits to the Masjid and these Mullahs, I found out that no matter what ideas I proposed, even some very (now that I think about it) blasphemous ones, I was never answered in an angry tone...I was merely explained through the Quran and Sunnah, all in a very mild and gentle way...There was nothing that I perceived as being what I imagined Mullahs to be...It was truly an eye-opening experience for me...

As months went by I discovered that in the world of Mullahs, you are never judged...No one ever notices what you make in a year, no one cares how you dress, no one looks down upon you and no one points their fingers...It was a world away from the 'moderate' Muslims with whom I spent my life, where everything delved around what you make, what you wear and how you behave, and if something is out of kilter, you are talked behind your back or if you're not 'worthy' according to their standards, you are snubbed...

In the world of Mullahs I found equality...White guy, brown guy, black guy didn't matter, all that mattered was that you are a Muslim...Doesn't matter whether Shaafi, Hambali, Hanafi or Maliki or this or that (Except Shias and Ahmedis), you were a part of the Ummah...

Brother Lajawab and sister Sarah have hit the nail on the head. :k:

Seeing the attitude of some of our fellow Muslims (I can understand the Kaafir members as they themselves have never tasted the sweetness of Iman, may God guide them) towards the more devout Muslims I was going to open a similar thread myself.

It’s amusing to see people who have probably never been happy for more than a few hours at a time ever in their lives mocking the lifestyle of those who live in peace in this world and Allah willing bliss in the hereafter.

I have a lot of respect for the religious brothers and sisters who follow Islam both inwardly and outwardly who are more concerned with what Allah thinks of them as opposed to society.
