Alright..so i seem to notice that..my mom along with us siblings..say “hunnjii” a lot. Example, someone said.. ap log Toronto main rehtay hain..so me and older sis said..“hunnjii”. With punjabi twist. My mom is from Bahawalpur and moved to Lahore. She is punjabi..and we picked it up from our mom i guess..
Well..we are urdu speaking family..with dad from Karachi. I just thought it was quiet interesting. My dad never says.."hunnjii"..it's my mom and us siblings.

Question is...who else says this??
I am Punjabi from Pakistan and we all say hanji in urdu and punjabi as well.. but talking in punjabi we say.. ahoo or ahoo ji :D
Lol… ME ME ME…
& tell you what, it’s the only thing people catch me about me being Punjabi… Only Hunnji!!
The way we’ve been brought up doesn’t give a single clue of me being a Punjabi… people always think I am from India (and mom is actually from Delhi.. it’s just my father who is Punjabi)… But once I say this Hunnji in typical laay of Punjabi… they just catch me right there Hey… are you Punjabi??? LOL
