I mean at what point do people begin to see it as valid real estate? This discussion is probably 50 years ahead of being necessary. But the subject still fascinates me & I want to know what others think on the matter.

Mars is a darned good example where US can possibaly setup permannet outposts in another 200 years or so.

There is a story that Neil Armstrong and Edwin Aldrin were offered hot tea and steemed Tapioca(chaya and Kizhangu,in Malayalam) by a keralite .who was running a kiosk on the moon,when they landed on the lunar surface wearing all the space suite and mask. from the Apollo vehicle. :D

By International Treaty, no country, corporation, or individual is permitted to own the moon.

It’s probably less important who actually owns the piece of real estate on the moon as it is who owns the building placed on it and the transportation system to get you there. Even if you’re able to get there and knock on the door of my moon-house, I still don’t have to let you in.:nahnah:
