Re: Who or what

Learned it by myself.

I started off with some Kohl and lip balm .. Moved on to cream foundation .. Mastered that and added blush/rouge to it .. Mastered that, moved on to liquid foundation .. Now I want to learn how to do proper eyeshadowing .. Thats taking some time as I dont have any patience lol

Re: Who or what

Learned from Youtube.

Re: Who or what

learned it through youtube and also took self grooming classes.. i still want to learn arabic make up ..

Re: Who or what

dont do much makeup..and the lil tht i do..taught myself...

Re: Who or what

Taught myself, mom didnt encourage makeup wearing but I did see her doing hers and it kinda got me on board and being a super girly girl-makup obsessee helps too. Youtube is great for learning as well, as Marwah said. It really taught me a lot about makeup and the techniques and such as foundation, concealer, blush and conturing etc.

Re: Who or what

Youtube.
I actually just learnt how to do mascara (just made do with fake ones at weddings/eid up till now) and I'm still clueless about eye shadow, contouring and most other things but then again you don't actually NEED to do any of that( although I wish I could sniffle).
If I'm going out some foundation, blusher and eyeliner is all, mascara if I can be bothered, you don't actually need to 'learn' how to do any of that except practice with the eye liner to get a steady hand.

Re: Who or what

I specifically remember my dads colleagues wife giving me my first real makeup applying advice - she was a beauty pro and I really respected her for it. The foundation that I bought as a result of that conversation 3 years ago is the still the same one I use today. I learnt a LOT from youtube tutorials - literally used to watch them regularly like people watch TV. I also followed (and still do) a lot of makeup blogs, where I learnt a lot. However I think the best way to learn is experience!! I'm hardly an expert but at least now I can make myself look presentable :)
