Who makes an effort to do themselves up everyday?

Hi guppies!

So I was just wondering as to what other married girls do in terms of getting ready everyday. I’m a mumma of 3 bachey and I just have totally given up getting ready on a daily basis and spend most days in my pjs, unless someone was coming over, ten I would make an effort or if I was going out. But I never make an effort at all. Just can’t r asked anymore to be honest, sounds bad but with three bachey all very young (under 5) ive just given up.

Ive been thinking that I should start making a bit more effort, maybe put some tined moisturiser on etc and wear nice clothes especially for hubby, but it’s a time actor.

So what do other yummy mummies or married girlies do out there? Be great to hear your sides! xx

I wouldn't necessarily class getting dressed out of pajamas each day as 'getting done up' so you might want to start there maybe?

Please don't stay in jimmys all day! A quick shower, fresh clothes, some perfume, blow dry hair doesn't take long, stick some mascara on and some blush with lipgloss and your good to go!! It seriously does not take long to look tidy and groomed!

I wear jogging bottoms and t-shirts when at home because I feel comfortable doing house work in them. I hardle wear any make up but pay close attention to my body, teeth and facial skin mainly because I'm nearing 30s and I want to stay healthy and look lush in my old age. Make up and dressing up is only for weekend and special occasions.

I have 3 kids too btw.

Nothing wrong with looking after yourself at all, and I don't have kids, but I imagine looking after 3 kids under the age of 5 may leave you tired and not wanting to put on makeup or blow drying hair.....don't see why anyone should criticize or judge you for that....but watching your weight and basic grooming (the stuff that hareem mentioned) is much more important at this stage than just dressing up...

but waht do i know.

Re: Who makes an effort to do themselves up everyday?

^ exactly!!! i also have 3 kids who are a little less than 2 years a part (9 yr old and 7 yr old twins). When they were all 3 babies at the same time, the last thing on my mind was making myself look dressed up! I obviously brushed my teeth and kept myself basically groomed, but I see nothing wrong in staying in a tshirt and jammy pants while at home. I rarely wear makeup out, much less in the house, and my hair is usually up in a joora...I make sure I don't stink or have on stained, grubby clothes, but other than that, it's as casual as it gets...

...and I've never heard my husband complain.
