mashallah thats actually quite an achievement guys .. I am so scared of managing finances , I have left it to husband to take care of it .. I feel bad though , sometimes, coz I feel I should share the responsiblity , but then I am so kanjoos by nature , I reckon i wont spend on anything or spend on useless things if it were in my hands :hinna:

^aww i'm also very kanjus that's y i was taking the charge...the problem is i want to save some from the actual kharcha lol but i just cant do it :(

My baniya manages all the finances..he's a budgeting genius,mA and makes very sound financial decisions. The household (mortgage, groceries, utilities etc) is run entirely on his income. My salary gets split 3 ways... 1/3 gets direct deposited to our joint savings acct...1/3 to our joint household checking acct and 1/3 I keep in my own personal acct for my own spending. It works really well for us, mA savings is covered, and I don't have to explain every penny of my shopping personal spending to him either. Also, since I still have an active real estate career, whenever I get a Comission from the sale/purchase of a house, I put it straight into the savings account. That's our "nest egg".

I manage it all 100% … with husband occasionally peaking in. Its good, I like to know exactly where I stand financially and what to do next.
I discuss investment plans, big purchases with husband and visa versa (infact we shop together) but I make the ultimate decisions.
I find it tiring someday … its a burden … but I know it’ll be harder to give up the control 
you’d think having control of money would make me extravagant/fazool kharach but its been the opposite for me …

We do it together. My husband manages bills mortgage etc. It makes sense for him to as he was doing it before we got married anyway, from his income. I manage all groceries and my own bills like car insurance and phone etc. Big purchases are joint decision. Im also the main saver.
