With all things said and done respective to individual experience here is a perspective of our encoded need to learn about sex as humans.
Generally speaking boys learn to play with themselves first whereas girls have nothing "new to discover" at the time.
Curiousity takes its first peek for boys when they learn to grasp knowledge of their surroundings. The age can vary from 2-10 for this stage. Those who are sexually hyperactive tend to constantly play with themselves well into their teens and then comes masturbation. Mind you that boys are not slapped on the hand for masturbating and in certain situations are encouraged to do so when it comes to doing it. Why? because it simply relieves the need to and stress.
Girls tend to dwell at their sexuality once they've freaked out with their first bleed out and after that begins the day dreaming and curiousity of what the hype is all about. Keep in mind that it doesn't necessarily have to be when a girl hits puberty that she will think about it. Some even think about it well before the prime age.
Now weighing the two in respect, I'd have to say that girls take the upper hand in learning about intercourse whereas boys know how to perform the act because of practice.
My question was different. If a child knows about this where does he/she gets the info in the first placce? Its not painted on the walls of schoolyards!
Coconut:- A good answer :k:
hi, i’de just like to add ke girls tend to lean more about it and they take more of an interest in learning about the bioloically correct details about sex and all thats related with it coz most of the stuff happens to them and they need to be aware of what is hapopening and why, but with guys ive found that although they know some of the stuff they dont know or maybe havent bothered to find out why things happen to girls, whereas girls will tend to know much more about what girls and GUYS go thru.. whereas guys they will only know what is happening to them and not be bothered about the girls… but they will know the basics .. just to get by … if u know what i mean khair thats my view on the subject, and as far as the question about who learns first.. i think it depends on the individual, coz every1 develops at their own pace henna… bu by the time a person is 12-13 i can safely say especially in the west that both girls and guys know about sex whether theyve been taught in school or just even byt watching TV aaj kal itna bakwaas hota hai key u have to tell kids what is going on .. well i guess thats another story for another day so ill leave it there…

I think that is my answer to the question yaar.. :) it doesnt matter who learns about it frst as long as they dont practice it b4 the time comes for them to practice it !! ;)
umm…ur questions abt where did i get this info? Plz, to an elementary school aged child, things like this are funny. anatomy is funny. boys and girls together are funny. Some parents are more open with their children, others learn things through older siblings, etc. Im sorry after your question i really didnt understand what you were trying to say or where u were going with this…are u asking abt parental control? in a developed country? Anyways, offical sex ed wasn’t until 6th grade, but i can tell you i and most others new abt it way before then. My parents never discussed sex with me-i mean in the sense of having “the talk”. My mom doesnt like the word even used in the house. and dad is a doctor, so his lectures are of a more medical nature or as a dad, a warn me away from guys nature

i don't know about you guys, but where i am from everyone goes through official sex ed together. We went to this center, and the first stop was the body and its changes-which included the period. also after that we had to take health class. in later years in health class u study everything like that also. Plus if you get married, i would hope u know abt ur wife's period
I think most guys and girls find out about it at the same time...I know it's a shame for me but I came to know what really sex was when I was 15 yrs old because I always hung out with boys and had female friends who were much younger than me and they never talked about this topic ofcourse! :D
I was tought that there are many babies in the hospital and the mother goes and takes one of her choice:)and i was told about sex in the age of about 15 by a girl in the neighborhood
I think that in our society (i mean pakistan) boys learn sex before girls, and in the western society girls and boys at the same age.
