Indian cricketers are neck deep in money. They don't need to fix to make money. Don't accuse our cricketers without any proof.
Pakistani cricketers face an uncertain future. No international team is ready to tour pakistan. They are not allowed to make money in the new leagues. They are the perfect bakras for gamblers to exploit. You country should think about ways to make your cricketers future secure so that they don't feel the pressure to cheat.

^ Was there so much money during the times of azhar? Now every member in every minor league has money. It would be a foolish decision to cheat for peanuts when you can make money in a legal way for the rest of your career.

Hhunaeh is actually talking sense. This is incredibly sad, but it is also, at some level, understandable. We shouldn't shut ourselves from more humane understanding of the situation. Yes, they are incredibly immature, but they are just as human as us, capable of both good and bad. Also, everyone else involved, the board and the fans, should own some of the responsibility too.

Azhar and Jadeja were a disgrace. Both were banned for life (Jadeja for 5-6 yrs I believe.. but that was practically life) and correctly so.
There has been no involvement by the Indian cricket team since then. Besides the strict punishment in the past.. the fact that Indian cricketers make an insane amount of money also decreases the chances a LOT of them getting trapped into this match fixing bakvaas.
As an Indian though I do acknowledge and hate the fact that a lot of the cricket gambling is based in India.. match fixing or not.. it's disgusting.

After such disgusting show by big chunk of our players I keep thinking of shunning Pakistan cricket but when I think of the players who abstained from this disgusting act then I decide that these guys must be supported, they need appreciation for abstinence from lust for illegal money.

For me Younis Khan + Shahid Afridi are clean
This explains why:
- we lost the Sydney test...who knows what deals went down during those matches as this moron Majeed has mentioned he's been dealing with the players for 7 years or so
- Kamran Akmal continues to drop simple catches. Why he's still selected in the team despite bad peformances.
- Younis Khan quit when he did or was forced to quit by the players' lobby. This lobby also created rifts between Shahid Afridi and Younis Khan. Had this not been exposed now they would have done the same to Afridi.
- we lost so many matches from winning positions in the last 12 months alone
- the fielders drop so many catches
- why parchi players continue to be selected in the team
This explains everything IMO. All the truth has been uncovered with this shameful scam. Ijaz Ahmed, Waqar Younis they also courted controversy in the past but the way Waqar Younis reacted after the fall of each english wicket, I do not think he's involved but then again who knows.

And if this thing has been going on for 7+ years then we should also think about the captains before Afridi and Younis. What about Shoaib Malik? ....are all the defeats under him also under a cloud now?
That being said accused players are innocent until proven guilty, so perhaps we should not jump to conclusions just yet. Let the trial take it's natural course...

yes Afraidi is such a mard-e-momin, mard-e-mujahid that only a devious plot by some crooks could cause a rift between Younis and Afridi... and cause Afraidi to take an oath to swear to remove Younis from captaincy.
couldn't have had anything to do with his own desire to become captain.

I hate to bring this "regional biases" topic but maybe most of these players were selected from the same province just to keep this whole fixing fiasco within the trusted circle and to ensure that there was no whistle blower in the team? Maybe the coaches, team selectors, management , political parties etc were all involved? don't forget this azhar dude was running an organized multi million dollar business.. he himself said it that he has close contacts with PCB management
.....I don't know my imagination is going wild! I really hope azhar reveals everything!

Afridi has always been known to harbour ambitions of captaining the team
but Samb it has also been reported in the papers that they were planning to lose two of the one-dayers under Afridi

After watching the last video on this issue where Wahab and Amin are first shown the money hidden in jacket and then wahab takes the jacket from Majeed while amin stands and watches closely. This clip makes be wonder if these 2 players are the missing 2 players from seven along with Umar, Kamran, Butt ( ring leader ), Amir and Asif.

for me who ever has a lobby in the team, is involved directly or indirectly in fixing… have you guys noticed that Zulqarnain hairder was sent back to Pakistan, immdiately after the game because he had some injury, while Umar Gul is recovering in England for more than two weeks now… Kamran Akmal the biggest looser was brought back in the team, and he finished the series with 24 runs in six innings, out of which 4 were DUCKS!!!.. same goes for Umar Akmal, the way he becomes a super star and then becomes the worst batsman is pretty obvious. the way he throws away his wicket every now and then is obvious. I would like this investigation to go to the deepest possible level…
