The problem is: not too many direct flights go from US. Only PIA goes there directly. I think Continental goes there too, but via middle east and India. Although the service sucks and airhostesses are rude, but sanu kee, hamey konsa unkey saath rishta karna hai.
Nia You are right, and you can't waste 1300 only for one week as 2 days out of that week are for travel. If I would spend that kind of money, I would make sure I stay there at least for a month and get everything out of it.

Here I have 28 working days as paid vacation days per year. That makes 5 1/2 weeks every year. I can’t take them all in one go, but a 4-week trip to Pakistan every year is usually not a big problem.
Well - here the 2 weeks period is for the initial years. I think after about 2 years or so you are entitled to more than 2 weeks. But that can only be the case if you have a stable career job with a established organization. People doing odd and part time jobs dont fall under this category.
