jahan tak mughai pata hai..he will come from Khurasan .....dr.Asrar said that in old maps.... the Khurasan is a place covered by a art of eastern iran..afghanistan and pakistan....i tink after , Ghazvat-ul-Hind...the big army of muslims will go towards west and then conquer jerusalem as in ahadees...that blacks flagswill raise from Khurasan and will be flown in jerusalem....shias claim that he will be shia...but i read in Dr. Asrar book that he will be from Fatima(ra) dynasty...pure banu hashim ...but he will not be the one in the cave for 1200 years...as it seems un real that for 1200 years ..he is alive(allah can do maugza but usually it not happened) and in opinion of Dr. Asrar ...he has already born ....but Dr. Tahir qadri say that there are still about centuries to come to see Imam Mehdi...and Allah knows best...
