I am going to be 60 soon. In my whole life I could never know that who is actually ruling exept 5 years of Z.A.Bhutto Shaheed. During army rule we get an immage that Chief is ruling but after his leaving we become to know that he was also not independent in his decissions.
Situation becomes more worse in democracy. It looks that a play is going on and leaders are only acting to be rulers. (sorry for my poor English)

I agree with you 100%. When Bhutto said, "is qaum ki asal taqat awaam hay". All time dictator Zia-ul-Haq responded that "is qaum ki asal taqat fauj hay". Since 1948 after the death of Quaid, history proved again and again what General Zia-ul-Haq said. His statement is universal and applicable to even now. After fall of Dacca, dictators hammered a final nail in the coffin of democracy.

Pakistan is a feudal society control by combination of interest groups & army is included in that. As for Bhutto, I do want to remind you that he was no better & to some extent is responsible for break up of the country. We should also keep in mind that he was a right hand man of another military dictator & go to be where he was by kissing his you know what.....
Re: Who Is The Real King of Pakistan ?
I was not around in ZAB days but I have never liked how PPP has been run in most of BB days apart from her very last days and I dont like at all the people running it now. Having said that and read all the unfortunate things ZAB did he remains the most popular leader this country has ever seen. I like him for he at least took a stand and some of his speeches in UN however cosmetic in nature at least do lift the morale of the nation. As I said I never liked BB in her two stints but I had high hopes from her this time around because of her overall demeanour and the team minus Mr Malik. She seemed more in control and focused. Mr Sharif obviously had a great chance to do some good but he famously derailed and has largely himself to blame for that. I am not too discouraged by the lack of kings here infact I am worried that we have too few leaders and we our dependency on few leaders is indeed very unhealthy. More options for people to choose from will only keep out leaders on their toes. Today we have been pushed to the wall but none of our leadership has it in them to stand up and say enough is enough this nation deserves better from its leaders and from the whole world for what Pakistan has given this world.
Re: Who Is The Real King of Pakistan ?
King of Pakistan is everyone except Pakistani awam. Its military+feudal lords+foreigners (US, KSA+ others).
Unfortunately Pakistan hasnt had a single leader from the awaaam .... all of them were either feudal lords or army men ...
I feel the day we get a leader from the middle classes and get rid of the political families , Pakistan will know the real Democracy ....
But that wont happen , coz the minute someone ordinary tries to come up , one of the feudal families will kill him !
so in essence , we are awaiting a miracle to happen !

Re: Who Is The Real King of Pakistan ?
Our real king is Altaf Hussain.
Altaf zindabad.
Pakistan is a Republic. It does not have a King.
Here I remember a famous saying by a former Interior Minister , Zahir Sarfiraz, who was doing a press conference as minister and some reporter asked any question about any of his moves.
He just replied bluntly, "HAM JUNGLE KE BAADSHAH HEN, ANDE DEN YA BACHE..!"
So my dear friend, I think King are those who have power in Pak. And by power, its not only Govvt, but also burecracy and all intelligence agencies who have been for more active since Pakistan's birth.
Our real king is Altaf Hussain.
Altaf zindabad.
You mean "Our mafia king is Altaf Hussain".
