Imran makes us proud, he's still well known in Britain.. A lot of the 30-40 yr old white women I know are still gaga over him, they tell me about how they named their pet rabbits after him (just hope it's the animal variety and not the electric they were talking about).

Yeah he's ace, I might not agree with all his policitical views but he knows who he is and he's proud of it, he knows where he's standing, he has no inferiority complexes and is not ashamed of his culture, really refreshing for a Pakistani celeb. Other Paki celebs make me sick when they try to be something they're not and can never be, they should glamorise and be proud of what they are and will always be..

If you're going to be proud and confident in who you are others will respect you and be in awe of you... Just like Imran Khan, I think he's so cool because he's Pukhtoon.. Adam Langley-Khan (racer with her majesty's accent) will be the next Pakistani celeb who will make his nation shine above all the other nations of the world and if I'm not wrong he's Pukhtoon as well.. It seems Pukhtoons are the only Pakistanis man enough to be proud of their country and consider it equal to other nations, I see other Pakistani celebs acting like it's a dishonour to be Pakistani, trying to speak English and shying away from their national language Urdu like it's inferior, very annoying... Like I said be proud and confident of your identity so that people respect it and are in awe of it.

Desi is Pakistani and the other fellow South-Asian countries who adopted our Sanskritic languages..

Persian are Iranic, I know his family lived in India for a while so if he spoke Hindi then I guess he is Desi but he didn't so..
