ok, so hijaabi girls are the most beautiful....hmmm yeah i guess so
but the most important thing is the personality. if you have a beautiful personality then you ARE beautiful. but if you look like aishwarya rai and you dont know how to behave then thats not very impressive is it?
i wear hijab myself, alhamdulillah. but i see Muslim girls with hijaab and why is it that most of them are SO MISERABLE? do they even know wot a smile is?
PS. sisters, i know you shouldnt go out and beautify yourselves for strange men. but it is a DUTY for you to beautify yourselves for your husbands. dont you think alot of sisters are neglecting that? :(

A local reporter for a local major newspaper wrote an article. She is a Christian and I don't know if she is still with the paper. Her article delt with this issue.
In a nutshell:
After detailing many of the things being discussed here, vis-a-vis, the modesty, the the makeups, the human nature, and male nature, etc. To prove her point, she said she went to the local mall all made up. She walked by a group of 5 or 6 guys standing and talking at a point. She went about 20 or so feet out and then stopped and looked around behind her. She saw all some guys with their heads turned looking at her.
Next day, she went to the same location and repeated the same motions. This time she was in reguler clothes. with no perfume, and head cover. No one looked at her.

you dont always get the respect even if you wear hijab :)
where i live, the pakistani boys are the worst ones. even though i wear hijab, they still look and even beep their horns when they go past.
and about a week ago i was at a shop with my mum, and there was this pakistani guy standing in the shop. so we had to go past him but he was just standing there. he couldve moved abit back but nah he just stood there. so my mum passed him first and i looked at him and hes still standing there! they do it deliberately and its sad :( if you wear hijab, you should get the respect but unfortunately you dont and whats sad is that the Muslim men give less respect to muslim women than the non-muslim men :(
nia_khan,
Nice topic,..You deserve a Prize for it,...:)
Well,...Since you asked about "Who is the most beautiful women??,My answer is quite simple,.....Out of 100%
60 % Good character(Loving,Faithful and Caring).
25 % Beautiful(personality etc)
15 % Educated and knows eastern culture( Family Values).
If anyone you mentioned come close to it,..then that will be the most beautiful woman.Just having beautiful face means nothing after couple of years,....wrinkles will start appearing and beauty will be gone,... HIJAB is important but not symbolically, but in real practice too. There are two Hijabs,..Visible and invisible,..Invisible one is the one which is more important,.....which is in Heart,....I hope everyone knows what I meant,....:)

thanks i am honored.... :)
wonderful reply .. :) yes indeed one has to practise it too :)
No, she's not Diana Hayden nor is she Sushmita Sen,
Not even Aishwarya Rai, Who is this girl then?
No, she does not flash her legs nor walk down the aisle semi-nude
For her such things are unthinkable, sacrilegious and downright rude
Miss World, Miss Universe, Miss "Anything", She does not aspire to be
She shuns all kinds of publicity in privacy she would rather be
Never in a swimming costume will she for a camera pose
Yes, she's the 'girl in hijaab' more beautiful than a rose!
Those who're 'stripped' of modesty will 'strip' for any cause
Whether on a lonely beach or in front of a full house
In their naked greed they dance In pursuit of earth's glory
Is there a thing more vulgar than a woman devoid of modesty?
In the name of freedom all moral values are now defined
Vulgarity, nudism, nakedness are steps to fame that wind
Those who are of rotten minds call it freedom of "female" species
Yet, they exploit them a-plenty, whenever and wherever they please.
But for their terrible transgressions maybe they are not fully to
blame, The Muslims forgot their duty and let them live in shame
Incumbent upon the Muslims it was to promote good and stop all vice
If they had done their duty such situations wouldn't arise
Back to our girl in hijaab much loved in Allah's sight
She is darling of all the angels Heaven beckons to her, by right
She's a simple Muslim Girl Yet more beautiful than a full moon
The brightness of her face is all "Noor" can there be a greater boon?
Modesty is her birth right without it, she'd feel lost
"Shamelessness" is a Devil's tool that she avoids at any cost
No, she does not commit sinful acts nor to base desires give vent
In studies, salah, zikr and tilawat much of her time is spent
Does anyone look twice at a guy who isn't well-groomed?
Its not necessarily about shallowness, or whatever. People like to see people who are well put together. You might not look like a beauty queen if you're groomed up, but you probably would look professional.
I mean there's a fine distinction here. If you're at a job, man or woman, you're taken way more seriously if your clothes fit you and look good on you, if you wear glasses that make you look intelligent or if you've got on make-up that makes you seem more serious. There's slutty make-up, there's clubbing/fun type makeup and then there is a "i'm at work" make-up.
So how can you belittle a woman who's just trying to look professional and convey a sense of seriousness at work, who (God forbid) wears a business suit, gets rid of her facial hair, keeps her hair neat and combed (or not if we're talking about a hijaabi), etc.
I mean, you can have your hijab on in a sloppy way, and then you can have it neatly done. Which female would you take more seriously?
Its not just a matter of beauty. Its what your grooming says about your personality.
Are you seriously going to want to have a lawyer that is good and looks disshevelled wearing a baggy shalwaar kameez, or do you want the lady wearing the business suit with neatly done hair, and neat make up on, and trimmed nails?
