About smartness, it depends.

Girls are good at Kitchen because every girl has to cook even if she does a job.

Boys are good at sports as they are stronger than girls.

Girls get good grades because they are much serious about studies and boys have other interests besides studies.

Lord has made couples of every animal and plant when this world came to
existence. So, Chicken and her Cock came first.
