NOTTINGHAM (England), May 3: Pakistan captain Waqar Younis made an
apparent U-turn Thursday by saying he wanted to team up with
fellow pace bowler Wasim Akram for the Test series against
England.
The newly appointed Waqar, who had suggested just before the tour
that Wasim could struggle to make the starting eleven, said:
"Hopefully I’ll open (the bowling) in the Test match with Wasim
Akram. “Of course, I want Wasim in the side. He’s a key
man.”…(Reuters) http://dawn.com/cgi-bin/dina.pl?file=spt1.htm&date=20010504
The most difficult thing on the face of earth is to make out the chemistry of mind and attitude our cricketers posses. You are never sure what to expect from them - so playing it safe, expect anything from them - from extraordinary to extremely ordinary. I think our universities should have a proper subject in their syllabus dealing with studies on Pakistani cricket(ers).
First of all, I think we were talking something else. Secondly, you should report this to Admin for they have kept the option of masking themselves with whatever is available around the globe and have left us with the bunch of that 300 stupid-looking icons. I guess mine and KS icons are the most sober-looking stuff in the lab.
