Who is flying to watch World Cup ?

Well not necessary k you should fly to SA. I know its going to cost around 350/400 for the whole worldcup Package why not fly back home and watch the worldcup for free

Yeah it will take 800$ to fly back home but then you will have so many ppl around you. Baba gave me 2 options

  • Fly to SA for a week trip that includes live India & Pak clash
  • Fly to Pakistan and watch the whole worldcup

Which one should i prefer ?

Note : not that i’ll change my own plans according to the say of you ppl liken phir bhee

I am seriously thinking of Flying to SA.Dduring the same week My friend is also getting married there. So I have 2 reasons to go. I tried finding out cost of Air tickets from US to SA and couldnot get anything cheaper than $1700. :(
If I get anything around 1000 I would go for one week and watch India vs Pak,India vs Eng and attene friends marriage.

Anyway coming back to your question. It will be fun visiting SA and see matches live with thousands of people and then enjoy African Safari.

I think going to PAK and watching the whole worldcup would be good. You never know if PAK is going to win or lose so if your in SA and PAK loses everything spoiles, if your in PAK and if PAK loses you can be still happy being in PAK :)

I have no desire to spend money to go to SA to watch arrogant Australian dickweeds win the world cup. :grumpy:

I was thinking of buying the Finals tickets off Ebay, as tickets are already sold out :(

Me and couple of my teamtes are organizing a free gathering at a local resturant, where all the world cup matches will be shown for free. If you live in the Austin/Houston area, PM me, and I'll give you the details.

goto Pakistan bhai if u want waisey friends marriage and u got the money to spend then go ahead
I probably will get a dish to watch these games

Its alot better if you watch cricket with your friends rather than paying 400 bucks and watching it with family members.

If you live in city with a major desi population, go to the local Indian/Pakistani restaurants, they might show some cricket.

Afterall Pakistan will win, and its always great to celebrate with friends.

Best places to go to watch a Cricket match, especially one being the World Cup, is a Desi Pub in Englaaaand. With no whities. :)

ooooooooooh ur so damn lucky.....

If I had asked my dad for goin to SA....he would have given me do chittar...:(

go to pak and watch in tv dude!

Pakistan vs India match will b such a mess! people will fight! and bla bla!!!
i think it good 2 go pakistan... and watch the whole world cup!
tv shows replay and all
while watching it live..... hardly can see a ball!

well, watching a match live is a different fun altogether but for a weeks trip, nah i dont think so its a good idea. yu will miss other matches naa, If you can other matches live, then you can consider this SA option and going to Pakistan and wathicng it with relatives plus watching on televsion is no less fun either :)

Re: Re: Who is flying to watch World Cup ?

:hehe:

Has anyone else noticed that the Pakistani support in SA is so quiet? In England Pakistan team feels like it is playing at home. I thought there was quite a lot of Pakistanis in SA?

Definitely there are lots a support for PAK in SA, but look at PAK record against SA I think PAK supporters are pretty much ashamed of that :hehe: the rest you know
