Off topic for this thread: but people who believe that East Pakistan could have remained with West Pakistan forever are living in utopia.

The distance (not literal) between East and Pakistan grew over a period of 24 years (1947 to 1971) ; we had several Govt., before the partition who did nothing to address the issues that allowed East and West wings to operate in their silos although it may seem bitter but it’s a truth that even current state of Pakistan is not a mix that has survived the test of being as one country.

Question for genius members here: In 2016 is Bangladesh more of a nation or Pakistan?

To point fingers and making tall claims is easy; whoever has a keyboard and internet connection can do it; Perhaps ZAB was as much involved in East and West partition as much as Nawaz is involved in CPEC.

That analogy would make the partition illogical then from geographical perspective. So was Jinnah wrong then?
