Who hit the rewind button?

Lets bring out the bitter tones in light for once, shall we?!

Observing the Islamic world, one is struck with shocking discoveries. West ke tho hai hee puki chutee! No bother about that.
Present state of our countries is quite upsetting. Islam, that was introduced with so much pain…is being thrown away ever so briskly nowadays. Day by day instead of getting resourceful, Muslims are moving swiftly into the modern age of Jhaliya. Ignorance is playing the key role disrupting our values and beliefs. E.g.

“One of the fronts upon which the attack against Islam is most prominent and vicious is the sphere of morals…One sees how, slowly, perhaps even deliberately, the morals of” some Islamic societies “are subverted through the mass media and pornographic literature.” *

Its common witnessing inappropriate movies being filmed by our industries, promoting unappropriated western fashions, “Imported tastes and practices in the relationships between boys and girls slowly gaining currency in the society; …an insidious propaganda which stigmatizes Islam and all that it requires in the way of high moral standards and pure behaviour.”

Another aspect that should be brought in discussion is that often many of us leave our home-lands. We leave it either for the sake of achieving some distinguished goals or perhaps because one think it better helping his home-land from a distance. Now those who never then to have a desire of returning back, a question arises in mind for them. The question that I’m about to ask, applies to us all, in one way or the other. Below is how it follows.

My concern is that if those who think they are able to serve their country in some way, while residing abroad: How do we expect things to work thenselve out, if sincere ones leave the fate of their home in hands of insincere and corrupt leader?

Its really a shame that we are so overcome with grief and fear for a personal dark future, if we actually reside in the land where things are at a chaos. Wouldn’t it be better to stick with our land, and … “if necessary die in a land where there are Muslims to struggle and to die for than to live out one’s life in security in a place where no one comes in perpetual daily and hourly conflict with the values of the society and it’s ways of life.”

Alas! For we don’t really are much moved by words like that. Maybe some would perhaps prefer rather pondering over speeches as such, and forgetting about it the next day or so. As Iqbal said

~Ragon mie wo lahoo baqi nahie hie
Wo dil wo arzo baqi nahie hie

Nimaz-o-roza -o- qurbani -o- haj
Yay sub hain tho baqi nahie hie

Kabhee daryaa saay msl moj obhar kar
Kabhee daryaa kay seenay mei uthar kar

Kabhee darya kay sahil say guzr kar
Maqam apni khudi ka fash tar kar

Bay mo-ajza duniya mie obharthee nahee qomain
JO zarbay qalimi nahee rakhtha wo hunar kiya?

Fi Aman Ullah!
Daysee Behna

someone asked a wise man,
"where did you find islam in its best form?",
the wise man replied,
"england!".
