The muslim leaders are amongst us there is no 100% pure angelic muslim ummah who sitting on desert island waiting to come in.
If you look at muhammad(saw) he changed the people in his society who where idol worshippers and people who used to bury there daughters alive, into people who where the best of the best like umar(ra) and abu bakr(ra) just to name 2.
Same with muslims today they will be our leaders they maybe gangsters or shallow thinkers today but tommrow they inshallah will lead this ummah to open new lands to islam. The islamic state with the system and government will mould the people to have the islamic thought along with action. This will happen over time and not overnight.

I disagree on your point because the muslims you see today are a result of the society they live in today and that society if kufr. If you live for example in pakistan where we get cable tv showing filth 24/7 then what you expect the people to do!

Holy Quron is chock full of stories about filth and how either God and muhamed cured the afflicted 'filthy' person(s). In other word, if there is no filth, a prescriptive and curative religion will have no purpose!

Answer to Q1:
Depends upon the 'kufr' laws. The welfare systems in most of these 'kufr' nations seem pretty close to the Islaimic ideal, therefore I wouldn't ditch these. About 'man made system like democracy' - I wouldn't ditch this either, as it seems to be a sensible solution and is in no way incompatible with Islam

You misunderstand the islamic state is not a state of angels there will be problems no doubt because humans are designed to make mistakes.
Even muhammad(saw) had problem with adulterers, theives, corruption. But point being he had a system and authority to implements a system to deal with it so it does'nt become rampant like today.
We never been in such a miserable state like we are today with out a islamic state to take care of our affairs this status quo will continue.
I would love to live in an Islamic state which is run by the Quran and the Sunnah. evry1 wuld be at so much peace and living as the Prophet peace be upon him and his companions may Allah be pleased with them used to live. however if the country was going to turn into something like Pakistan-which was supposed to be an Islamic state than i dnt think i would.
another point-from reading a few of these replies one get the feeling that sum believe that being muslim-no fun! why is it this way? why would you want to have "fun" in this world when one can get a great reward from Allah subhanawata'llah, reward which is better than anything on this temporary world?
I think the anti islamic state responses are people who using todays examples where people live in corrupt rotten societies and they think same will happen in islamic state.
for example many people live in pakistan and islam has been abused by many people and people naturally will think that will continue in an islamic state and this is wrong thinking you cannot apply a secualr capitalist system to an islamic system!
