Re: who does photojournalism style wedding photos in pak??
When I called him the first time, he qouted me one price. When I called a month later, he had increased his price by 700 dollars!!!!!!! and that too, for a MEHNDI. He was so rude and kept doing his tareefs and how good he is. He had admitted to me earlier than Kiran's wedding was the first and only big wedding he had done. Now he was acting like some hot shot photographer. He wanted to take all the pictures on HIS terms, he didn't want to click relatives or people on stage. He said he wanted his own space and in 2 day event, he would only produce 40-60 QUALITY pictures which sounds bs to me. On top of that, he told me I had to pay for his air ticket as well as put him a five star hotel and I agreed to see what he would say next. I live in a state right next to NY so he called me an hour later (obviously after making plans with his friends in NY) and said, I think I am going to come to NY and then drive to CT for your wedding and then fly out from NY after that... followed by, 'and you would have to pay for my tickets to NY as well as my rental car to CT' Seriously, what the heck???!!!!! I was like look, if you're coming to MY wedding, you better fly to my state and leave from here as well. I am not gonna pay for your little detour and he said he was only doing it cuz he has an 'engagement' to cover in NY. I said ok so then tell them to pay half of your flying expenses and he refused to talk about it. He kept saying what an 'amazing' deal I was getting for so cheap (it was costing more than 2000!!!) and I was like, you're not even a pro, I can get an AWESOME professional photographer for the same amount. I am definitely not hiring him, I can't believe I actually considered him a second time and he was just worse then.
OMG, he is a horrible photographer, just go to flickr.com there is a pakistani photographer's club they take such amazing photos with their point & shot that i can't even take with my pro camera. and that dude think he is a big shot just because he have done one wedding (as a friend, he wasn't a hired photographer)
his pictures are blurry, light is not good enough, there isn't even one good pic which shows dulhan's dress properly. just some random clicking that turned out good becuase of his pro camera.
