btw, my all time most exciting batsman is/was MOHAMMED AZHARUDDIN.

His batting was through-and-through stylish…even when he was just defending the ball.

Too bad he got carried away by non-cricket events(match-fixing/underworld/Sangeeta etc), else he was such a wonderful batsman to watch.

Some1, you should see Laxman and Zaheer Abbas more often.

Salim Malik can be called a lot of things, but boring isn’t one of them.

Some1, you should see Laxman and Zaheer Abbas more often.

are you suggesting Azha was not. Laxman is definitly stylish but he is just a shadow of Azhar. He was simply brilliant. His style was unique and some of his shorts were simply out of this world

Some1, you should see Laxman and Zaheer Abbas more often.

Well..I did not see much of Zaheer Abbas…but I have read that Azhar’s batting style (esp his wristy shots) resembled that of Zaheer…so there you go.

As for Laxman, I like him…he has a very uncomplicated clean technique…but I would put Azhar ahead of him in style.

There is ONLY one batsman whom I found extremely boring, so boring that I would turn TV off when he was at the crease. I would have rather watch grass grow than see Shoaib Mohammad bat.

I know he is consistent, talented and all…but for some reason I find his batting style…lets just say…not very exciting.

I kinda agree with Some1, Dravid is one of my favorite batsman from the current era. Class, elegance and most of all seems like a nice humble guy. He has done so much with the bat that he really doesnt needto prove anything but at the end of the day I'd rather see Sehwaq, Inzamam, Sachin, Ponting, Gilchrist then Dravid. He isjust not very exciting to watch. Might effective yes, but boring as hell as well.
