For me ...it is....surprise,surprise.....RAHUL DRAVID

I know he is consistent, talented and all.....but for some reason I find his batting style...lets just say.....not very exciting.

In the yester years, Sunil Gavasker / Boycott / Muddassir Nazar were a real torture to watch. Looked as if the whole purpose of being out there is to not let the ball hit the stumpls and thats is.

Hey you stole my idea of a thread.I was watching chanderpaul bat the other day and I got the idea of starting a similar thread,but u beat me to it.

Dravid can be a bit slow but not so boring,some of the strokes he plays are quite exquisite.he's a very good player of pull and backfoot drive thru mid-on.

Smith is also a good stroke player.

Chanderpaul has to top everyone's list.everything from his stance,even his physical presence on the field is boring.even when he hits a boundary, it's a pain to watch.

btw, my all time most exciting batsman is/was MOHAMMED AZHARUDDIN.

His batting was through-and-through stylish....even when he was just defending the ball.

Too bad he got carried away by non-cricket events(match-fixing/underworld/Sangeeta etc), else he was such a wonderful batsman to watch.
