You may think of it that way but then multifold rewards are not for experimental subjects are they. Additionally, experiments are done to determine some kind of benefit or harm for the scientist however we can not benefit or harm our creator in anyway. So all we are required of is submission for our own good not so we become an experiment. So in reality we are experimenting with ourselves though we have been given the rules for a successful experiment, the rest is upto us.

Interesting you have quoted a method which is similar to a commentary of one of our great scholars in the past, but I have forgotten his name.
My friend who is a student of knowledge said to me that he read about this scholars that he said, the way to understand Qadr is like a man who walks the path. Though he chooses which way to turn it is Allah (SWT) who makes the road that he treads. And as each decision is paramount and the servant (meaning creature) makes a choice Allah (SWT) provides the scenario for that choice to be manifest. When we take the knife to cut it only cuts because Allah (SWT) gives it permission to cut, and so on.
InshaAllah I am going to post a new thread on the first lesson I teach to Muslim teenagers in Islamic Studies regarding Life and it dovetails nicely into this topic.

i always thought it was the jews

LOL Some people try to play God I guess ... 'Jews' as you put it ... i prefer a different term ... try to limit our conscious decisions by presenting before us a faux selection of options, thus if we let them then indeed we can be 'controlled' but I hope you appreciate there are levels of control and the ultimate being control over existiance per se rather than control over options or control over opinions.
