A leader to lead to what? What is the right path?
What I can't understand is why most Pakistanis do not see the obvious which the whole world is trying to explain to them. Unless you have good principles to start with you can't have good end results. An end goal of trying to bring “lslam” as the system can be seen right from outset an attempt doomed to failure by anyone with at least one brain cell in his head and some knowledge of how religion is exploited in politics. We will just keep getting Maulana Fazlullahs of sort for the rest of our lives if we don’t change this.
Start afresh, get to the very basics. Start with something good to work with and you’ll start getting good results. The largest super power did not become super power by being a religious state…200 years ago US was almost 0% of world economy and China and India were the biggest economies at the time. But US started with something good whose time had come. Their declaration of independence begins with “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal…”.
Pakistanis in contrast are still hostage to their tribal mindset which manifests itself as religious strives. Pakistanis complain of rising temperature at every step of the way but don’t want to accept or realise that they set their way leading to hell form the outset. Most Pakistanis are unable to look at bigger picture or if they are able to, they avoid it as it will not fulfil their dominating goals if they have to accept others as equals in the society.
So my advice is, for now dream on...with such a bad start as a goal of setting up a religious state, no leader can get you to anything great.
Because china is not an Islamic republic. CHina is not ruled my Muslims. Same is the case with India. Islam gives us a complete package.
You are only looking at material development which even Islam encourages. How can the social side be neglected.
Its not Islam, its the lack of understanding of Islam which is a problem.
You have people like Fazalullahs and fazalurRehmans because there never has been a sincere effort by the state to make people understand their own religion - Islam that provides solutions for the whole humanity.
Since you are so fond of superpowers, go back in history and read about an empire that started from the shores of Atlantic to present day Pakistan and beyond. They had a system also. Many basic sciences were developed there yet they also implemented shariah of Muhammad (pbuh).
So don't fool people by preaching secularism. Secularism was dead when the Objective Resolution became part of Pakistan's constitution.
What likes of you are doing is making a futile effort to secularize the minds. Try changing the Quran first.
