Did Ibrahim Alaysalam take the help of jinns to build the kaaba? or was it made by men only?
Re: Who built the Kaaba?
Never heard such supernatural thing for kaba.. and Kaba was first built by Hazrat Adam (AS) as per some traditions, but Quran only talks about the construction by Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) with the help of Hazrat Ismail.
Re: Who built the Kaaba?
Kaba built by hazrat Ibrahim was with the help of his son, Ismail

That was Hackle Sulaimani (The Dome of Rock) built by Hazarat Sulaiman (A.S) by the help of jinns ....
Kaba was built by Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) and his son hazrat Ismail (A.S). Hazrat Adam brought Hijar-e-Aswad with him from heaven.
Re: Who built the Kaaba?
The muqam-e-Ibrahim is the stone that was carried by angels (levitated) as the Ka'bah was being re-built by Ibrahim (AS). Adam (AS) being the size he was stood taller than the Ka'bah and needed no such flying platform.
Re: Who built the Kaaba?
It is Constructed by Ibraham, and his son Ismaeel
The site of Kaaba in 1880
Re: Who built the Kaaba?
Peace,
There are different narrations in history about the foundation (construction) of ‘Kaaba as well about its renovations.
Abu Jaffar Al Baqer, narrates from Mohammad bin Ali bin Hussain r.a. that before descendant of Hazrat Adam a.s. on the earth, Almighty Allah, build a house called ‘Bait-ul-Ma’amoor’ which was right under His thrown and the angels do circumambulate (tawaf) around it. Than Almighty Allah SWT ordered the angels to go down on the earth and build the house there. When generation of Adam a.s. increased, they were ordered to do circumambulate (tawaf) around that house.
Hazrat Abbas r.a. narrates when Almighty Allah descendant Hazrat Adam r.a. on the earth, he was ordered to build kaaba (which mentioned as The First House of God) at the place called ‘Bait-Ullah’. This house was created with the stones of five mountains, Jabal Al-banan, Tor-e-Saina, Tor-e-Zaita (near Bait-ul-Muqadas), Jowdi (Mousil) and Hira.
After the storm of Hazrat Noah a.s., this house was expunged only the signs remained there. Later on Hazrat Ibrahim and Hazrat Ismail a.s. re-build (reconstructed) it. Renovations works were carried out by tribes of Amaliqa, Jarham, Qasa and Quraish.
Many Muhadaseen said the Kabba was re-build/re-constructed 10 times:
1- By angels
**2- **By Hazrat Adam a.s.
3- Than by sons of Hazrat Adam a.s.
**4- **Hazrat Ibrahim a.s. & Hazrat Ismail a.s.
5- Tribe of Amaliqa
6- Tribe of Jarham
7- Tribe of Qasa bin Kalaab
8- Hazrat Muhammad ![]()
**9- **Hazrat Abdulah bin Zubair r.a. (with permission of Prophet Muhammad
he merged the land of Hateem with Kaaba. It was build/reconstructed/renovated after 82 years from tribe Quraish.
10- Lastly by Hajaj bin Yousif Saqafi, the Governor of Abdul Malik bin Mardan Amuwai.

And the basis for this is?
Sanan: The dome of the rock was built much later than Hazrat Sulaiman.
The current ka'aba was built during the time of the Holy Prophet(saw) wasn't it?

That is not what the historical records of reputation say. Ibn Kathir records in Qasas ul Anbiya (and so have other historians) that the stone of Rasool Allah Ibrahim was attached to the wall of Kaaba until the days of Hazrat Umar when he removed it from the house a little, lest the people busy in prayer from the people doing rounds around the House.

Yes it was rebuilt during the time of Holy Prophet SAW. But originally Ka'aba was built by Hazrat Ibrahim and Hazrat Ismail as given in the Quran.
Re: Who built the Kaaba?
I think you are talking about The Hateem or Hijr al Ismail … I’m talking about Muqam of Ibrahim which is a golden coloured tablet with two foot prints in it. It is now encased in the booth just in front of the door of the Kabah.
Prophet Ibrahim ( Abraham )(AS) - Think
This is a decent link on the building of the Kabah.
Re: Who built the Kaaba?
No brother, I was talking about Muqam e Ibrahim which is a gold(en) caged, upright structure we seetoday. Its original location was right next to the wall of Kaaba. For sources you may refer to Ibn Katheer’s Al-Bidaayah Wa Al-Nihaayah and Qasas Al-Anbiyaa.
Re: Who built the Kaaba?
Peace Surdar Asif
Ok, but it being next to Kabah does not in any way negate what I have said about it. That it was the stepping stone for Ibrahim (AS) as he built the Kabah.
The structure or golden housing is not technically the muqam, but the rock within it with golden coloured footprint impressions stamped on it.
Where there may be a difference is in the idea that this was being pushed by Ibrahim(as) whereas I said the angels lifted it. If you see the actual site it makes a lot more sense that it had to be lifted by way of miracle.
