oh ok...in our family it's arranged by the bride's family...the imam is usually arranged locally where the nikah is solemnized...Imam doesn't like to travel far with the baaraat...:)

i believe its usually the bride's family. But if they are from out of town, or dont know anyone, i guess the groom's side can arrange for it.
