I have grown quite comfortable with being who I am. There isn't a lot to hide. There is very little that no one/very few people can know. And there are some very trustworthy people who know that stuff.
As far as bank information is concerned, I trust the people around me. I haven't explicitly given my information to anyone, but I have, for example, asked my sister to access my account during an emergency.
I learned that more you hide yourself/stuff about yourself from other people, more you hide that stuff from yourself. So, if there is something you aren't proud of and would like to face it to correct it, tell the people you trust.
Oh, and for people who know, a couple of my closest friends and SO. How much I share with each person depends on how close I am with them.
It is also impossible to share absolutely everything. No one happens to know what I was writing about in my journal a couple minutes ago. No one needs to know and I don't have the need to tell anyone. I don't have the need to guard it with my life. But because it is personal, I'd like privacy.

As for hiding I usually have nothing to hide, esp to people who I am close to. My brother knows pretty much everything about me, as I do him, as for banks etc he knows my bank number and I do his.
I think its human nature to be close to someone, that helps relieve pressure in my personal opinion and helps to keep the mind less loaded if we share stuff.

It is why I dont have best friends…no one can boss me around..Also it is kinda lame to make friends who do not understand you and listen to you.
