To say that it was mourners who went on looting rampage is mere speculation. It could have been anyone, including kharijis themselves.

Besides, in every incident, the major blame of violence rests on people who attacked others in the first place. That is the root cause of violence in the law of any country.

And even a bigger question is that where was the police?
And if police did not interfere then it shares most blame for the loss of property.

Since police in Sindh is under control of the provincial government, it looks to me that interior minister Zulfiqar Mirza stopped the police only because shops that were being burnt were in Karachi, and not in Ratto Dayro or Larkana. The same thing is happening with Lyari gangsters on shooting rampages throughout the city, and police doing absolutely nothing to stop the violence.
As much as anyone hates MQM, we should not allow killing of any person in the country.

If anyone has doubts about Zulfiqar Mirza’s thinking then one should see what he planned to do when BB was murdered.

There’s something you don’t understand because of your sectarian views khoji. You see the terrorists looting, burning the city but don’t admit because you belong to their sect. That’s not fair at all.
Worse attacks have been witnessed in other cities on Ahlus Sunnah e.g the Nishtar Park attack in which 50 people along with scholars were killed but they didn’t attack Boulton Market, Light house Market. Just after Aashura attack 100 people were killed in Laki Marwat, they didn’t burn Ahlus Sunnah’s markets and properties. Such arson attacks and looting is witnessed only when a particular sect is attacked. And the justification they give as in your own golden words:

Well, there’s no justification of the terrorism from mourners on the day of Ashura in Karachi. Sane people from other sects don’t react like that.

And by the way, the Terrorist Zulfiqar Mirza belongs to the same sect.
