I never comment on YouTube but as a Kashmiri couldn’t remain silent. To all the Indians and Pakistanis, calm down. Have you ever dared to ask Kashmiri what they want.?. This is history and anthropology. This isnt about your partition. It is much older than that. And why the hell do you only care about Religion. Yes we are Muslims, have been Buddhists as well as Hindus and even at times Zoarastrians. So calm down. To make it clear Historical Kashmir only refers to Kashmiri speaking areas of Kashmiri valley, Chenab valley, Pir panjal region and northern parts of Azaad Kashmiri in Pakistan. Beyond that there is no Kashmir. The rest were labelled as Kashmir by early British geographers because they didn’t know what to call these small kingdoms and grouped them together in One region. The ethnic group being discussed here are Kashmiris who speak Kashmiri language or Koshur. It is not about Paharis or Dogras or Ladhakis or Gilgitis or Baltis. They have a separate identity. Also stop this India-Pakistan crap and Hindu-Muslim noise. Don’t apply your historical understanding on us. How Islam reached us is very different to how it Happened in rest of South Asia. So Calm down.

So if I understand you correctly what you are stating here is the Kashmiris want a separate Kashmir? and the current struggle is not about Muslim Kashmiris vs Indian State?
The current outbursts in Kashmir that are then depicted in media as India being heavy handed…what are reasons behind them?
indians have this habbit of saying everything originates from india........ you can see this whenever there is someone praising pakistan/pakistani culture/people/food/land etc.........they give this veiled compliment/insult - where they say, '''' this is beautiful and nice but it originated in india and its amazing"....like wtf fools......
pakistanis are still not out of the mirage of 'muslim' unity and 'muslim ummah' having a certain political standing......

I’m glad my innocuous post drove you to post this. If you had bothered to understand the context of my post you would understand I did not want to read the comments of the video and not this thread. Looks like this lota is overflown with hysterics, lmao.
