Who are the Ahlel Bayt?

Re: Who are the Ahlel Bayt?

Bhai merey, this all conjecture and assumptions. There are words in Quran that do not entice any special meaning other than what they are used in day to day language, there are others that signify something special.

You are stating that Bibi Sarah is AhleBait because she was mother of two prophets, i am saying that this purely an assumption, this is not suggested by any word in Quran even by a long stretch. You state that wife is temporary relation and hence cannot be Ahl-Bait, yet a temporary relation as wife is Ahle-Bait of Ibrahim a.s while a permanent relation like son is not considered AhleBait as in case of Nuh a.s's son.

Then again to me this all semantics. Whats important in this age is the context in which these theories are important. I cannot find anything in Quran that tells me why its important to find or to discuss who is AhleBaut and who is not.
