yeah, so? a lot of people who are bilingual [with Urdu as their second language] have accent…ALL of them do everywhere! you want me to post an audio clip of my imitation of them?
i once got a wrong number in Mumbai and this guy was a memoni/bohri and the conversation we had was hilarious. i teased him to the point of he got real angry with me
Ohhh wait!!!! Are you talking about the clip you posted somewhere?
i dun remember having posted that...but, i can do it now if you want me to! :)

i believe Memons are SUNNIS unlike Bohris who are Shi'a [an offshoot of Ismaili]. i always got confused between the two communities until i came to Canada and met a few from each community. Memons are peace loving people and a very money loving people as well! :)
I know memons are predominantly Sunni, I was speaking specifically about Kutchi speaking people who have crossed Ismaili. Bohris are pretty much Gujrati speaking.
i think it depends on what geographic area they belong to…Kutchchhii memons are those who hail from Runn of Kutch which spans across the borders of India an Pakistan [Gujrat and Sindh…to be specific]
Runn = maidaan, maidaan-e-jang [battle field]
Kutch = an area in Gujrat, India
