i said gums not teeth! i was talking to a friend who smokes…his gums are quite dark color..not the normal healthy colour!
Anyone know of anything for this so i can put gumboys mind at ease!!!?

his lips must be pretty dark too..al because of nicotine..also his fingers that he holds the cig with.Do let him know that if he/she leaves cigerretes..his lungs/gums/and watever that has been affetcted by nicotine can go back to bormal within months to a few years:)

yup but the internal damage is longterm to permanent... it would be good to quit asap.

Its not permanat though...long term maybe. as the studies have revealed that the lngs of a smoker can be reversed to that of a non smoker after stopping in about a few years..dependent on the history...so there is a silver lining to that.

"white gums"??? ewww! Gums should be a healthy pink/red color. Some people/races tend toward purple. Whitish/yellowish gums indicate kidney, blood or liver disease!! And I dont think that smoking affects the color of gums, only teeth. Tell the gumboy to ask his dentist abt it.
