What do those mean or signify if anything at all? I heard two ladies talking about their daughters having them

its because calcium deficiency!
all you need to do is drink lots of milk or use other sources to get the calcium your body needs.....its sign our body gives us!

They're called "Leukonychia" and they can be caused by an injury to the nail, or an underlying infection. They usually surface later than the injury, so by the time see the spot appear you've almost forgotten all about the injury.
Myth is that white spots are caused by lack of Calcium, which is not entirely true. If that were the case, then other symptoms like as Hair loss or Slow Immune system would also accompany the white spots.

The spots are the initial sign of calcium deficiency, hair loss and all the other suff follows a lil later.

nah man i don't think ive get injuries all the time? i mean i know when i have enough calcium i dont get these spots :D
