i always felt like the skin needs to be even, bright and flawless when i wear white because the focus totally goes on the face and skin, the other colors being more bold are more forgiving i think

^this is true. wearing all white will bring attention to the contrast between light colors(the white saree) vs. your complexion. good healthy skin is important!
