rihanna was already light skinned adn she has coloured eyes .. people with coloured eyes have pale skin that changes soemtimes from tan to pale .. its not a big deal

I've seen very dark skinned people with coloured eyes (and they look amazing, very striking).. but yeah Rihanna is a medium tone and sometimes she looks more tan and sometimes more pale..

Most people don't realise that a lot of these famous 'tanned' celebs are naturally quite pale in real life when seen without make up. For example Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Adriana Lima, Jennifer Lopez etc etc are pretty fair by desi standards.

I've been wondering the same thing for quite sometime. All these black celebrities start off dark skinned, and 5 to 10 years down the road theyre 5-10 shades lighter. Beyonce is the biggest example, look at her pictures from 10 years ago and now, you'll be shocked. Same with rihanna, Michael Jackson went hallelujah nuts with it. Nicki Minaj aswell. Whats up with that!??!?

There are many reasons she could have had lightening treatments , i remember on tv she claimed she had a skin peel and only relised the next day when the moisturizer burned when she put it on her face LOL. It could be that she lightened over time naturally but it would be wierd that she lightens her skin secretly then tans on the beach so im not sure. :s

Michael Jackson did have vitiligo so he had the choice to live with brown skin and milky white patches on his body or drastically lighten up all over so he was all one tone, however ‘weird’ people might find that.. His son Prince also has patches of vitiligo.. it is genetic:

Latoya Jackson seems to lighten her skin but who knows for what reasons.. Lil Kim is another one who obviously does..

Deeba, I was referring to few magazine covers she did...can't post the pics here but she looks so white (I mean white not wheatish or olive). And they look highly photoshopped.
